Considered one of the more efficient martial arts, Muay Thai stands out for the aggressiveness of the blows, that always seek the opponent's knockout and it normaly happens. Formerly, in the tournaments of the fight, divisions didn't exist for categories and the fighters used hemp dressings or cotton (a lot of times wet in paste and last in glass potsherds) in the hands and they protected the womb with coconut peels. After Second World War, some appeared modifications in the original rules, exactly to avoid the lesions. Even so, the Thai Boxing is still a violent sport. Unhappily as the sport in Brazil is not valued as much Paulo as João Emílio today they have other activities, but even so they coordinate The CHUTE BOXE ACADEMY of Piraju and they make the exchange of the axis Piraju - Curitiba and They always travel to teach MMA and MT in the seminaries around the planet. Master Paulo Henrrique that had a technique of exceptional striker went back to Curitiba and Master João Emílio that he had the most potent kick, continues in Pirajú. The academy of Piraju today counts also on teacher " Boinha " that already conquered countless titles and he is also as well as our masters it is recognized and respected in MUAY THAI around the south america and today he is fighting in MMA too "I owe Paulo Henrrique and João Emílio a lot, (and to the Evandro/the young brother too) they were part of my adolescence and they had contributed very positively in my life as fighter and as person, I mirrored myself a lot in both, the two showed the value of an united team, Paulo showed me that fighter doesn't only fight and João showed me that certain hours " some " bad guys have to take a corrective for to know who is who.
