BUTTERFLY SWEEP

1. Seated André Quiles makes guard while your opponent Rafael Salgado makes the grips looking for the passage...

2. ...in a dive movement Quiles shakes the left arm looking for the belt,
at the same time the hip escapes outside from your opponent with your right leg.
On the other side with the right hand André Quiles dominates the arm...

3. ...taking advantage of the " hole " created by the escape of the hip and the pressure of the fencing
(making the opponent to have the sensation of being falling in a hole),
Quiles forces the sweep movement then using the fencing, the hook of the leg and of course the hip.
important not to loosen the grip on the other side (right) that is dominating the arm, avoiding like this the opponent's support...

4. ... Falling for top with an arm fenced how it was and the grip in the arm also as it was
the master now only has that force the 1/2 guard's passage,
that is not difficult once your opponent is with the two dominated arms...

5. ...To facilitate the passage kicks the coiled leg to the front,
for that to maintain the leg of very open support and the weight of the hip well centralized
and clearing doesn't loosen the grips...

6. ... on the and at the side control.
